  1. The stars on the fake jersey are far apart from each other. And the patches don't count when you're comparing shirts, because you may want to customize your shirt later, and if your shirt is original and you buy the patch from a non-reliable source, that won't make your shirt fake!

  2. Guys I’m comfused if you look at this Jersey Properly they don’t look the same with the one players wear? The one players wear have small lines like rain drops which is which?

  3. I actually just bought the fake one with Messi’s name and number and it’s pretty good, doesn’t feel or fits as an original but for the price I think it’s fair

  4. I just recently bought the Argentina World Cup 2022 champions jersey and I bought a Messi number and 10 to print on but then adidas launched their official Messi Argentina World Cup jersey so I bought that one too and the numbers are different like the texture and all so I’m like which is legit cuz the adidas version is official but different from what Messi wears in games

  5. the only authentic jerseys i have are because i got them for huge deals, or second hand retros, besides that i go for replicas. that does not mean i dont love my club. jerseys are one of the most biggest scams in football. absolutely no shame on buying replicas.

  6. As someone who lives in a country where football isn't popular. I have no problem buying fake jerseys cuz no one here can tell the differences. Although I'd want to buy original jersey with my own name and number of my choice if I have the fund.

  7. The one small thing I always look at is actually the stitching on the inside of the collar. It blends in on the authentic ones, but it always stands out on the fakes because they do it with white thread.

  8. Yeah, i completely do agree but there's a thing that many people actually can't afford the original and that doesn't mean they don't love or want to support their club. Most of us buy copies cause there's a memory associated with it and we want to cherish and nourish that forever. It's true that you'll get good prices for authentic jerseys if you resell them but hey there's no point in collecting them. When you buy a jersey, you buy the memories not the jerseys.

Talking about me, I'll definitely go for the originals once my budget allows it but again it's the memory that matters most, according to me.

  9. The colour is different,if you look carefully & close you see the fake is a bit darker(the light blue)not by much but it stands out ,also only from the video its hard to tell but the material seems different maybe its an Adidas blank shirt used for the fake but still in the video they dont seem the same (at the start when you showed them & named them A & B)

  10. I have a couple of selected authentic player version & fan replica shirts. But I do collect the early 90s "non original replica", especially long sleeve versions, which are based on the rare player match shirts. Long sleeves fan replicas are only available from the EPL era, although Arsenal sold the match edition adidas home shirts from the 1993/94 season, right before they switched to nike.

  11. Very solid arguments in your video. The weird size tag placement tipped me off to the fake, but the WC badge threw me off at first. I would add that the sizing for modern fakes are really, really off from authentic jerseys. Really, we’re talking three sizes off from authentic jerseys in many cases in recent years.

  12. The original is for collectors imo. It's really hard to pay 150€ for the original (real madrid new jersey for example) when the fake is similar quality and 15-20$. If the original is a team I like and is not over 60-70€ I will take it. But some clubs overcharge, especially for new jerseys.

  13. Interesting subject. Recently I bought couple of jerseys and don´t really fit me. I can still return them back but as it´s from abroad, it´s pretty inconvenient and I rather keep them or sell them later. I guess next time I´m in London I will head into CFS shop and make sure everything fits me 😎. Anyway, I buy just original ones. I´m buliding my own collection. But when I was in Egypt, I bought one fake. But as you explained, quality wise it´s a big difference. So being fortunate enough to afford original ones, I definitely go for originals. Especially as a I wear most of them. Also, I prefer to wait for clearances and discounts. I´m not a die-hard fan of a club so I don´t feel the urge to buy overpriced brand new one.
